- Design and maintain the storage backend abstraction layer and transaction management system.
- Implement and optimize storage backends including SQLite, in-memory, and RocksDB.
- Ensure CRDT document operations such as merging and version tracking are performant.
- Own the reliability and performance of the storage layer by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Design and maintain blob storage systems for large value handling across platforms.
- Collaborate with Query Engine and Data Sync teams to optimize database operations.
- Author RFCs and design documentation for system architecture.
- Estimate delivery timelines and communicate project execution with management.
