Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with a track record of operating production systems.
- Proficiency in Python or equivalent backend experience with a willingness to learn Python.
- Experience designing relational data models and working with databases at scale.
- Experience with API design, distributed systems, and performance considerations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Experience using AI tooling for productivity in coding and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop core services powering public digital experiences and growth channels.
- Design and manage relational data models for scalable systems.
- Collaborate with design, product, data, and care operations teams.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a healthy, inclusive engineering culture.
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies across the engineering organization.
- Ensure high-quality product delivery through rigorous attention to detail and debugging.
