Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience with modern JS (Vue, React) or Python/backend web development.
- Meaningful hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Proven track record of leading architectural decisions at the domain level.
- Experience shipping customer-facing products with technical excellence.
- Strong product intuition and ability to connect technical investments to business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency with AI-powered development tools.
- Commitment to growth-oriented team culture and continuous improvement.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) preferred.
- Expertise in Django or similar frameworks preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver impactful full-stack features that benefit Medicare brokers and beneficiaries.
- Partner with product and design leadership to shape scope, surface tradeoffs, and influence roadmap decisions.
- Own system-level decisions within the product domain, driving architectural choices for long-term platform health.
- Identify systemic sources of technical debt and lead their resolution.
- Establish and evolve engineering standards through code review and system design principles.
- Mentor engineers and promote a growth-oriented team culture.
- Utilize AI-powered developer tools to increase efficiency and product quality.
