Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development using Go, C, or Rust.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-throughput data pipelines.
- Experience with timeseries databases, especially the storage layer.
- Experience with object storage or distributed filesystems.
- Experience designing tiered storage strategies (Hot/Warm/Cold).
- Experience with TTL-based data eviction at scale.
- Strong collaboration skills for a remote-friendly culture.
Responsibilities
- Co-own, design, and scale a high-performance, data-intensive platform storage layer.
- Develop new network data observability and intelligence features in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Define and lead the execution of a multi-year technical roadmap for KDE Storage services.
- Optimize storage services to achieve industry-leading query speeds.
- Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams to drive platform-wide storage standards.
- Solve high-visibility, challenging engineering problems related to data-intensive platform storage.
