Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role within technology.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience across multiple organizational disciplines.
  • Strong background in software development and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional technology teams, particularly on customer-facing web applications.
  • Familiarity with best practices for the software development lifecycle (build, test, release).
  • Experience collaborating with designers to define Client Experience (CX) and User Interface (UI).
  • Strong knowledge of Mitacs+, Power Platform, and PowerApps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines.
  • Highly skilled at issue resolution, task prioritization, and workload management.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and manage the backlog for Mitacs+ while collaborating with the Product Lead, Service Design and Operational Excellence team.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design innovative, user-focused solutions.
  • Develop internal and external process and workflow knowledge to support strategic product decisions.
  • Capture analytics and track product performance, adoption, and key business metrics within Mitacs+.
  • Represent user and stakeholder needs throughout the development lifecycle to evaluate trends and determine feature development.
  • Manage product portfolios, release management, and backlog refinement while estimating delivery timelines.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories and prototypes for Agile teams and vendors.
  • Coordinate software development activities to ensure product value and adherence to user needs.
