Requirements
- 6 or more years of professional experience in SEO, with depth in technical, on-page, and off-page disciplines.
- 1 to 2 or more years of experience managing direct reports or leading a team in a player/coach capacity.
- Working knowledge of AI search platforms and GEO/AEO strategy (e.g., Profound, Perplexity, ChatGPT).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS and GitHub-based staging workflows.
- Proven experience managing website migrations, including planning, redirects, and post-migration monitoring.
- Fluent in GA4, GTM, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Experience building and running A/B tests using tools like CrazyEgg or GrowthBook.
- Strong written communication skills for creating meta copy, page briefs, and project specs.
- Ability to present performance data and strategy to marketing leadership.
- Background in fintech, regtech, or B2B SaaS is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop two direct reports covering AEO/GEO strategy and web development.
- Set quarterly priorities, own the roadmap, and allocate work across the team to hit organic and web performance goals.
- Own the SEO and web function budget, outside vendor relationships, and tool stack decisions.
- Own ongoing content optimization across all lead-driving pages with a focus on search intent alignment and conversion.
- Own off-page SEO strategy, including link-building operations using BuzzStream.
- Maintain overall technical SEO health including crawl audits, Core Web Vitals, and indexing.
- Manage external developer relationships, CMS build workflows, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing.
- Own GA4 and Google Search Console reporting and deliver performance reviews to marketing leadership.
