- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll with a focus on US multi-state payroll; Canadian experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in global payroll operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication, self-motivation, and a positive 'can do' attitude that empowers teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an intermediate level of experience in Excel.
- Bachelorβs degree or certification in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, BambooHR, or UKG is a plus.
- Process semi-monthly payroll for US and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate calculations, adjustments, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and stay updated on relevant payroll laws.
- Support EMEA/APAC payroll operations when needed.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, including year-end payroll filings.
- Maintain payroll records, data integrity, and conduct regular audits and reconciliations and assist with internal and external audits.
- Liaise with the People team to execute accurate benefits and deductions and manage pension programs and related deductions.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with Finance, People, and IT departments to implement system updates and improvements.
