Requirements
- Proven experience as a leader of leaders, coaching engineering managers and team leads.
- Ability to align priorities, communicate technical trade-offs, and navigate complex cross-company contexts.
- Skilled at shaping high-level technical direction to improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Experienced in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing pragmatism with ambition while managing team health.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be based in the UK or Spain.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK or Spain.
Responsibilities
- Co-own and drive outcomes with the Head of Product by setting clear, goal-focused priorities.
- Shape technical direction and scaling practices for the Marketplace area alongside architects and engineers.
- Coach and mentor engineering managers and senior individual contributors to foster leadership development.
- Collaborate with the Platform team to improve developer experience, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
- Champion an inclusive, transparent, and continuous improvement culture across Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional departments like Commercial and Customer Support to align strategies.
