Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development.
- Significant experience within AI, data, or technology-driven businesses.
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and closing complex strategic partnerships involving AI platforms, data licensing, or APIs.
- Experience negotiating multiyear commercial agreements with global technology companies.
- Strong financial acumen, including building business cases, revenue models, and partnership frameworks.
- Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning ecosystems, and data infrastructure.
- Exceptional negotiation and executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global AI business development strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close strategic AI partnerships including LLM platforms, generative AI companies, enterprise SaaS, cloud providers, and data licensing partners.
- Develop revenue-generating AI data licensing agreements leveraging proprietary weather datasets.
- Structure complex commercial agreements including data licensing, revenue share, API partnerships, and co-development.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology leadership to translate AI capabilities into scalable commercial offerings.
- Build and maintain senior executive relationships across the AI and technology ecosystem.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams through evaluation, financial modeling, and execution.
- Monitor AI market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.
