Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related sales experience, or Master’s Degree with 2+ years.
  • Proven track record in business development within pharma, biotech, or CRO.
  • Experience in sales of biobanking, sample preparation, and specialty lab services.
  • Self-directed with ability to work at a highly technical level.
  • Strong strategic and tactical planning skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%, including domestic and international trips.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads for Biospecimen services.
  • Develop and enhance client relationships.
  • Manage a team of Business Development Directors.
  • Present inventory reports, conduct feasibility studies, and create budgets/POs.
  • Collaborate with functional services like clinical and lab teams.
  • Handle large account management and strategy.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings.
  • Manage sales pipeline using Salesforce.com.
  • Assist in hiring and training new business development members.
