Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related sales experience; OR Master’s Degree and 2 years of related sales experience
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organization
- Experience in sales of biobanking, sample preparation services, and specialty lab services
- Ability to work independently and strategically in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for all Biospecimen services products
- Develop and enhance client relationships
- Establish working relationships with Operations, Marketing, Technical Support, and Finance
- Qualify leads and create inventory reports, feasibility studies, POs, and budgets
- Close new business and expand existing relationships
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings
- Manage a team of Business Development Directors
- Assist in hiring and training new BD members
- Participate in marketing and conference strategy
- Oversee large account management including rate cards and discount structures
