Requirements
- Recent college or university degree in Sales, Marketing, or a business-related field.
- 1-2 years of account management experience in the transportation and logistics field (asset).
- 3+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field (preferred).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on internal and external customer needs.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with customers through constant communication to meet day-to-day and long-term needs.
- Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure accuracy in pricing programs.
- Participate in rate matrix reviews to ensure profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
- Execute rate calculations, report preparation, and customer presentations for large-spend bids.
- Identify, manage, and build new business relationships within the target market.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity.
- Prepare sales budgets, reports, and expense account documentation.
- Coordinate meetings for prospects, sales, and current customers in partnership with the VP of Sales/CS.
