Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in account management, finance, accounting, or client services
- Experience handling accounts payable or financial operations
- Experience managing client accounts or customer portfolios
- Familiarity with CRM and accounting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Background in B2B, SaaS, finance, or operational support roles
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to earn client trust
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage sensitive financial/account information accurately
- Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Understand customer and business needs related to financial and account services
- Support accounts payable processes, invoice tracking, and payment coordination
- Manage renewals, billing support, and retention risks
- Identify opportunities for account growth and improved service delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Support) to ensure smooth service
- Track account health, financial activity, and performance metrics
- Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and account updates with clients
- Resolve account and payment issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and accounting systems
