- Own the AR portfolio and daily collection strategy for current and past-due balances, prioritizing by dollar value, age, and risk.
- Assign owners, next actions, and expected resolution dates to material past-due accounts, and personally handle large, sensitive, or disputed balances.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes, contract questions, and other barriers to payment, escalating accounts when needed.
- Ensure invoices are generated accurately and on time in accordance with signed contracts and approved terms.
- Oversee recurring rental billing, credits, refunds, security deposits, and billing adjustments.
- Ensure payments are applied accurately and promptly, and resolve unapplied or unidentified cash.
- Reconcile AR across QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, Upflow, and the general ledger, and complete aging reviews and month-end close deliverables.
- Supervise and coach offshore Billing and Collections/AR team members, setting expectations, deadlines, and escalation paths.
- Build repeatable SOPs and review controls, and prepare weekly AR and billing reports covering DSO, aging, cash collected, and at-risk balances.
- Strengthen controls and processes, use automation and AI-supported workflows, and support acquired-business integrations.
