Minimum of 8–10 years of direct sales experience within the PBM, digital health pharmacy, or health insurance space.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of direct sales experience within the PBM, digital health pharmacy, or health insurance space.
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
  • Active, established network of national and regional benefits consultants and brokers (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Aon, Lockton).
  • Deep understanding of PBM mechanics, including formulary management, clinical programs, specialty pharmacy, pricing models, and rebate structures.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for high-stakes finalist meetings.
  • Ability to maintain an uninterrupted internet connection and support your own internet services.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare or insurance setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the PBM sales strategy to meet and exceed annual growth targets.
  • Target and capture market share from legacy PBM competitors through competitive positioning.
  • Leverage and expand a professional network of PBM/health plan executives and consultants.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process for enterprise accounts, including finalist presentations and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Legal teams to develop customized financial models.
