Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience in benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration.
- Experience administering benefits across different geographies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Proficiency with HR and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience working for a global NGO is preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage global benefits strategy, including benchmarking, vendor selection, and negotiation.
- Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance across all regions.
- Review and determine eligibility for all employee leave circumstances.
- Serve as strategic owner and administrator of the HRIS.
- Design and maintain SOPs and workflows to ensure data integrity.
- Liaise with payroll for accurate data transfers and time-tracking management.
- Conduct audits for pay and benefits accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with US regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA) and international data protection laws.
