Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration.
  • Experience administering benefits across different geographies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficiency with HR and payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working for a global NGO is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global benefits strategy, including benchmarking, vendor selection, and negotiation.
  • Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance across all regions.
  • Review and determine eligibility for all employee leave circumstances.
  • Serve as strategic owner and administrator of the HRIS.
  • Design and maintain SOPs and workflows to ensure data integrity.
  • Liaise with payroll for accurate data transfers and time-tracking management.
  • Conduct audits for pay and benefits accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with US regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA) and international data protection laws.
