Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive, relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney.
- 5+ years of employment law experience (worker classification, workplace policies, performance management, FLSA, EEOC, wage and hour, discrimination, leave, accommodations).
- 5+ years of healthcare privacy and security law experience (HIPAA, state consumer privacy laws, data breach response, contract review).
- Strong writing, analytic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with state AI laws in employment and privacy contexts.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, IT, and security stakeholders to provide practical compliance guidance.
- Lead legal matters related to employment, privacy, and security.
- Transform complex regulations into actionable advice for daily operations.
- Build foundational legal processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Draft and negotiate contracts to support business objectives.
- Manage data privacy and security compliance, including breach and incident response.
