Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management or government program execution.
- Experience managing complex programs with multiple workstreams.
- Knowledge of NOAA’s NWP modeling suites.
- Experience supporting government contracts, task orders, and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong project management skills including schedule and risk management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub Projects, Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Understanding of federal contract compliance and government reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support overall project management across IDIQ and task order levels.
- Manage PMO operating cadence including meetings and reviews.
- Maintain Integrated Master Schedule and track project artifacts.
- Drive task order implementation from scope to closeout.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution and manage dependencies.
- Partner with Ops on contract execution, labor visibility, and compliance.
- Manage and escalate program risks, issues, and blockers.
- Prepare status reports and briefings for NOAA and internal leadership.
- Maintain program documentation in systems like Jira and Confluence.
- Support quality review of deliverables.
