Requirements
- 5-8+ years PQE with mix of law firm and in-house SaaS experience.
- Strong B2B SaaS and enterprise software contracting background.
- Experience negotiating customer paper.
- Practical understanding of GDPR, privacy, and security obligations.
- Experience creating templates, playbooks, and self-serve processes.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to work with cross-functional leadership.
- Background in developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity preferred.
- Experience with AWS Marketplace or cloud marketplaces preferred.
- Experience with public sector or highly regulated customers preferred.
- Experience implementing CLM or quote-to-contract tooling preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own first-line contract review for NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and procurement terms.
- Establish legal intake and prioritization processes across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Security.
- Develop a practical contract playbook with clause library and fallback positions.
- Improve enterprise deal cycle predictability and reduce friction.
- Build commercial legal infrastructure including templates and self-serve tools.
- Provide recommendations on future legal operations or contract manager support.
- Negotiate IP ownership, benchmarking, AI/ML, and product-use restrictions.
