Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a leadership role.
- 3+ years working with U.S. clients or startups.
- Bookkeeping experience or certification.
- Familiarity with accounting and billing software such as Puzzle, Quickbooks, or Stripe.
- Experience building SOPs, creating reports, and FP&A/forecasting.
- Near-perfect written English skills (C2).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Systems-builder mindset with ability to organize messy data and implement tools.
- High attention to detail and ability to own and drive workstreams independently.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution and tracking of incoming and outgoing payments such as batch invoicing, check processing, and ACH routing.
- Interface with bookkeeping system, assist with month-end close, and ensure accurate transaction reconciliation.
- Develop approach and manage tax compliance, SaaS pricing models, and revenue collection processes.
- Support deal commission management and execute approach to tie CRM and financial systems.
- Streamline manual processes across finance and build documentation for repeatable operations.
- Maintain and evolve internal metrics reporting including financial dashboards, unit economics, and cohort analysis.
- Build and own the financial model, annual budget, and lead scenario planning and cash forecasting.
- Create and maintain financial update materials for financial performance and capital efficiency.
- Manage team reimbursements, internal spend requests, and identify cost structure improvements.
