Requirements
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, payer contracting, network development, or managed care
- Track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex VBC, shared savings, or pay-for-performance contracts
- Deep knowledge of alternative payment models and population health strategies
- Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial health plans
- Sharp negotiation, financial, and analytical skills
- Experience building and interpreting complex pricing and ROI models
- Executive presence and ability to influence C-suite decision-makers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter mindset
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for new payer partnerships
- Lead strategic renegotiations with existing fee-for-service partners
- Negotiate contract terms, rates, and performance metrics
- Build data-driven value propositions
- Manage the full contracting lifecycle
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of payer prospects
- Conduct market research on regional payer landscapes
- Collaborate with internal teams on product development and pricing
- Represent Boulder Care at industry conferences
