Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, payer contracting, network development, or managed care
  • Track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex VBC, shared savings, or pay-for-performance contracts
  • Deep knowledge of alternative payment models and population health strategies
  • Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial health plans
  • Sharp negotiation, financial, and analytical skills
  • Experience building and interpreting complex pricing and ROI models
  • Executive presence and ability to influence C-suite decision-makers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mindset

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for new payer partnerships
  • Lead strategic renegotiations with existing fee-for-service partners
  • Negotiate contract terms, rates, and performance metrics
  • Build data-driven value propositions
  • Manage the full contracting lifecycle
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of payer prospects
  • Conduct market research on regional payer landscapes
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product development and pricing
  • Represent Boulder Care at industry conferences
