Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Finance, MHA, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience in RCM or medical billing.
- In-depth knowledge of billing processing, payment schemes, and adjustments.
- Proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding per CMS guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement.
- Highly organized with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams through growth and change.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of up to 20 RCM professionals.
- Lead talent management including recruitment, onboarding, and coaching.
- Guide the team's transition from manual to AI-assisted workflows.
- Lead and optimize daily RCM operations and high-volume charge entry.
- Monitor and report on revenue cycle KPIs and manage client reconciliation.
- Drive continuous process improvement using AI, automation, and Lean/Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with Technology and Product teams on system enhancements.
- Serve as SME for CoCM CPT codes and behavioral health integration.
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance with regulations.
