Requirements

  • Work experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn new software tools quickly.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM accurately.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Growth mindset and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for patients calling to schedule or update appointments.
  • Listen carefully, ask clarifying questions, and guide patients.
  • Recognize when a patient needs clinical support and escalate as needed.
  • Use Epic to schedule visits, update insurance, and keep records accurate.
  • Help patients with MyChart account setup, password resets, and portal features.
  • Document each call clearly and follow established workflows.
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching.
