Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (master’s preferred).
- 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or quality leadership roles.
- Experience in power distribution equipment, electrical assemblies, or industrial systems manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success implementing engineering quality systems or performance dashboards.
- Familiarity with power distribution components (switchgear, MCCs, breakers, etc.).
- Proficiency in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in statistical tools (Minitab, Excel).
- Understanding of reliability analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, and SPC.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage complex programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engineering quality metrics program across product lines.
- Standardize processes for capturing and reporting engineering and product quality data.
- Define, track, and maintain KPIs including design defect density, field failure rates, and first-pass yield.
- Partner with Data & Analytics to develop automated dashboards.
- Drive structured problem-solving (8D, A3, DMAIC) for design quality issues.
- Ensure engineering processes align with UL, IEEE, ISO 9001, and ANSI standards.
- Lead Engineering Quality Review Board and promote data-driven decision-making.
