- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 6+ years of related experience with both public accounting and SEC reporting exposure.
- CPA certification.
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines.
- Strong organization and priority setting skills.
- Acute financial acumen and high attention to detail.
- Superior problem solving, logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate financial and accounting information clearly to personnel at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Ensure compliance with debt covenants and debt reporting requirements.
- Coordinate all requirements from outside auditors.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial information in forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K.
- Direct preparation of financial data for quarterly earnings releases.
- Prepare and review forms 10-K and 10-Q.
- Conduct technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos.
- Implement new accounting standards.
- Coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley documentation related to financial controls.
- Oversee preparation of weighted average shares outstanding and Stock Based Compensation expense.
