Requirements
- Active Medical Doctor (MD) license preferred; highly experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) considered.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Professional phone voice with a neutral accent.
- Hands-on experience navigating workflows within AthenaHealth EHR.
- Clinical foundation in triage, primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or urgent care.
- Quiet home office environment.
- High-speed internet access.
- Professional noise-canceling headset.
- Ability to multitask and manage high-volume digital medical inboxes.
Responsibilities
- Review provider-assigned lab, imaging, and diagnostic result tasks.
- Conduct outbound patient calls to explain results and instructions.
- Provide clinical triage and escalate urgent concerns.
- Document all communications in AthenaHealth to ensure compliance.
- Draft and post results and commentary to patient portals.
- Maintain high-efficiency digital inbox management.
- Collaborate with remote and on-site clinical and administrative staff.
