Job Details

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Requirements

CRC Certification
Minimum 2 years outpatient or telehealth coding experience
Experience with Medicare AWV and HEDIS measures
Familiarity with telehealth billing rules
Strong CMS and HEDIS coding knowledge
Windows 10 or MacOS 13 computer
Minimum 50 MBPS download and 20 MBPS upload speed with wired internet connection
Wired headphones
Webcam for video calls

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a compliant coding program to support audit readiness.
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for AWV and telehealth services.
Validate coding for HEDIS measures including CBP, EED, SPC, SUPD, OMW, BCS, GSD, KED, and COL.
Review charts for missing codes and incomplete elements.
Provide documentation feedback to providers and nursing staff.
Ensure adherence to CMS, HEDIS, and telehealth coding guidelines.
Participate in internal coding audits and quality reviews.
Serve as a coding resource for clinical and quality teams.
