Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience).
- 8 years of nonprofit marketing and communications experience.
- 4 years of management level experience.
- Experience in media relations, sponsorship management, corporate relations, and PR.
- Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce & Marketing Cloud preferred).
- Experience with project management tools (Monday.com preferred).
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under company policy.
- Ability to travel for local, regional, and national business trips.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve COGF’s external relations strategy and annual communications plan.
- Draft and finalize core external communications including press releases, web/email copy, social posts, and donor narratives.
- Lead integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
- Manage the press office function and build media relationships.
- Oversee digital and social media strategy and content pipelines.
- Supervise and guide the External Relations Assistant.
- Track and report on campaign and external relations performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
