Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles with demonstrated success.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze core financial statements: P&Ls, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
  • Experience leading and managing teams of 5 or more direct reports in a company with $20M+ in annual revenue.
  • Meaningful experience working with small-to-mid-market companies in the $10M–$15M revenue range.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • Commitment to consistent methodology delivery and client accountability frameworks.
  • High professionalism, discretion, and executive presence.
  • Experience managing client escalations and client experience.
  • High levels of technological abilities and understandings, including experience utilizing AI.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of all Fractional COO & Coaching engagements, ensuring methodology consistency and client satisfaction across the portfolio.
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop team leads and individual team members when needed; conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and capacity planning.
  • Work with the COO of SMB Team to build, refine, and enforce standardized financial frameworks including P&L management, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet review for client engagements.
  • Handle client escalations related to the departments led, while working with other departments when needed.
  • Collaborate with the COO and senior leadership on fractional service product development, pricing, and operational scalability.
  • Maintain business operating rhythms and systems within the fractionals team including KPI’s and quarterly boulder planning.
  • Manage & optimize the department budgets including capacity planning of the delivery teams.
  • Work with tech teams to build systems and processes including automations and AI assisted workflows.
