Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and compliance processes
- Familiarity with Canadian employment standards and provincial labor regulations
- Experience supporting HRBPs or People Operations teams
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable working independently within a remote and globally distributed environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day HR-related inquiries from team members and managers across NORAM
- Partner closely with NORAM HRBPs to support operational execution of regional people strategies
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and promotions
- Coordinate administrative support and tracking for Leave of Absence programs (FMLA, ADA, Canadian provincial leaves)
- Maintain employee data within Workday and ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian labor standards
- Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accurate processing of compensation and status changes
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives focused on scalability and automation
- Coordinate quarterly NORAM coffee breaks and regional engagement activities
