Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR operational best practices
- Familiarity with Canadian employment standards and provincial labor regulations
- Experience supporting HRBPs or People Operations teams
- Experience with payroll, benefits, and leave administration
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote and globally distributed environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day HR-related inquiries from team members and managers across NORAM
- Manage and coordinate employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions
- Support HRBPs with organizational changes, compensation updates, and performance cycle administration
- Coordinate administrative support for Leave of Absence programs including FMLA, ADA, and Canadian provincial leaves
- Maintain and update employee data within Workday to ensure integrity and compliance
- Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams for accurate data processing
- Ensure HR operations align with U.S. and Canadian labor laws and privacy regulations like PIPEDA
- Coordinate regional engagement initiatives and quarterly coffee breaks
