Requirements
- Proficient in speaking and writing English clearly.
- Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
- Prior virtual assistant or front desk experience preferred.
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Optima EMR is a plus.
- Ability to manage high call volumes efficiently.
- Reliable and consistently available during work hours.
- Access to a reliable laptop/desktop with high-speed internet.
- Access to a noise-canceling headset and webcam.
- Ability to submit an NBI clearance or Local Police Clearance background check.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming patient calls professionally and return missed calls/voicemails promptly.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments according to clinic protocols.
- Maintain accurate scheduling within the EMR system.
- Respond to patient emails and text messages.
- Handle incoming fax communications.
- Maintain organized patient communication records.
- Support remote front desk operations and collaborate with in-office staff.
