Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in disaster response, emergency management, crisis operations, or military operations.
- Experience supporting international/OCONUS operations.
- Entry-level GIS capability; advanced proficiency preferred.
- Experience with Esri platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, etc.).
- Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to brief diverse audiences and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Valid passport and required documentation for OCONUS deployments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor domestic and global events to produce actionable situational awareness products.
- Coordinate with volunteer leaders to ensure continuity of effort.
- Develop and manage a cadre of GIS volunteers.
- Apply GIS skills to create mapping products, dashboards, and operational visualizations.
- Provide mission planning expertise for domestic and OCONUS operations.
- Standardize planning templates, procedures, and tools.
- Support QA/QC for operational data and reporting.
- Develop analytical tools for impact assessment and continuous improvement.
