Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating within the design and construct industry.
- Specialisation in office fitouts.
- Strong understanding of project buildability and value engineering.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Cubit software.
- Proficiency in Procore software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Projects and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct follow-ups and communicate estimates clearly over phone and email.
- Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning.
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to prepare project cost plans.
- Collaborate with design teams to influence design for cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and submit tenders including bills of quantities and procurement schedules.
- Attend tender interviews to clarify submission queries.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis for potential projects.
