Requirements
- Experience in stone, cabinetry, or joinery estimating
- Strong ability to read and interpret building and architectural plans
- Proven experience completing accurate take-offs
- Strong 2D CAD drafting experience
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret architectural, construction, and shop drawings
- Complete accurate material take-offs from plans
- Identify project scope, fabrication details, and installation considerations
- Calculate quantities, wastage, cut-outs, and labour requirements
- Produce 2D stone component drawings using SeCAD V12
- Prepare quotations using StonePro software
- Liaise with internal staff regarding project details
- Maintain estimating templates and pricing schedules
