Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or related technical environments (Structures, Assembly & Integration, or Composites preferred)
- Familiarity with technician-level skills aligned to aerospace roles, including blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and hands-on work in structures, assembly & integration, or composites (e.g., drilling/fastening, system assembly, torque application, or composite layup/bonding)
- Comfort with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office)
- Experience with safety and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, 5S, FOD)
- Experience working from written work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality specifications in a production or aerospace environment
- Demonstrated depth in at least one of the following: Structures (drilling, fastening, structural assembly), Assembly & Integration (system assembly, fluid systems, harness routing), or Composites (layup, bonding, surface prep)
- Experience teaching, training, or mentoring adult learners in technical subjects
- Ability to deliver engaging instruction in a live, virtual environment at scale
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of Fellows, which may vary in size from 200 to 8,000+.
- Deliver instruction on skills tailored to Learners' needs, including math, verbal reasoning, and technical problem-solving.
- Oversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
- Be flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary.
- Assist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed.
