Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Emerging Talent, Campus Recruitment, University Relations, or Early Careers, ideally within a tech or high-growth environment
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle early-career hiring across multiple functions and cohorts simultaneously, from req creation through offer acceptance
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (we use Ashby and BrightHire), and the organizational rigour to keep pipelines clean and moving
  • A track record of planning and executing on campus and virtual recruiting events with energy and attention to detail
  • Genuine curiosity about AI. You actively explore how AI tools can improve sourcing, communications, reporting, and candidate experience, and you bring what you learn back to the team
  • Strong interpersonal skills - you can build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and university partners, and you're comfortable having challenging conversations when needed
  • A data mindset - you use metrics to understand what's working, run end-of-cycle recaps, and proactively flag where a process needs improvement
  • A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and adapts well when things shift, which they often do in our scaling environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day recruiting cycle for all internship cohorts - managing pipelines, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and serving as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout
  • Support new graduate and junior level hiring for Engineering and technical functions, including intern-to-full time conversion tracking, as well as potential recruitment support for other emerging junior talent areas
  • Be the face of 1Password on campus - maintaining relationships with university career centres, student organizations, and community partners, and planning and executing recruiting events including career fairs, hackathons, and info sessions
  • Contribute to employer brand and program content for the team, including social copy, event follow-up, and swag and materials management across cohorts
  • Own the intern program experience each term - from pre-boarding operations and Day 1 setup through intern events, engagement programming, and end-of-term surveys - ensuring every cohort has a consistent, high-quality experience. You’ll also be responsible for keeping in touch with past interns and keeping in touch for potential full time opportunities.
  • During slower hiring windows, you may flex into broader talent acquisition and project support across other functions
