Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 1–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking to employees and leadership
  • Experience supporting onboarding, recruiting coordination, or HR administration
  • Experience in a government contracting (GovCon) environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now)
  • Exposure to benefits administration and employee lifecycle management
  • Experience facilitating presentations or orientations
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or interest in obtaining)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting hiring managers
  • Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions across platforms
  • Partner with leadership to move candidates efficiently through the hiring process
  • Prepare and send offer letters and coordinate pre-employment steps
  • Own and execute new hire onboarding processes, including documentation, system setup coordination, and communication
  • Lead and facilitate new hire orientation sessions with professionalism and confidence
  • Ensure all onboarding materials and processes are up-to-date and consistent
  • Manage employee offboarding and termination processes, including documentation, system updates, and coordination with internal teams
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, employee questions, and coordination with brokers/vendors
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate support
