Requirements
- Effective communication styles and methods used to interact with used car dealers, brokers and third parties
- Can work independently, setting your own priorities and taking a lead role
- Are prepared to take accountability for your own performance
- Can communicate verbal and written information to customers in a way which is clear, fair, and not misleading
- Can work under pressure in a target driven environment, with the capacity to prioritise tasks
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Can research, digest, analyse, and present material clearly and concisely to senior management and director level
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Can work proactively and think strategically in a fast-moving environment
- Can have flexibility and adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and to work extra hours where required to meet deadlines and deal with client queries
- Can present to motor dealers and brokers of all size and types
- Previous experience of motor finance, or associated businesses within the motor industry (desirable)
- Good understanding of the digital marketplace that exists within the motor finance industry (desirable)
- An understanding of the regulatory environment that exists within the motor industry (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Create new used car dealer/broker relationships within your geographical area
- Manage existing used car dealers and brokers to ensure they meet their sales and efficiency targets
- Attend face to face meetings and telephone/email negotiations offering competitive finance facilities to used car dealers and brokers
- Offer excellent customer service
- Be an active team player
- Achieve business targets and personal objectives
- Attend 121’s and team meetings in any of our office locations (typically held in Cardiff)
