  • Previous experience as a Medical VA, Healthcare Admin Assistant, or Customer Support role in healthcare.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong patient-facing professionalism with a calm, courteous, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think independently.
  • Comfortable handling phone calls and written correspondence.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound patient calls with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Respond to patient inquiries via email, chat, SMS, or other communication channels.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in the clinic’s CRM, EMR, or scheduling systems.
  • Assist with follow-ups, reminders, and patient coordination.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and reporting.
  • Escalate urgent concerns or complex patient issues to the appropriate healthcare staff.
  • Support billing inquiries, insurance verification, or referrals as required.
  • Ensure all communication is clear, accurate, and aligned with patient care standards.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with patient data privacy requirements.
