Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience.
- Mandatory expertise in Marketing and PR, HR services, professional services, and a strong understanding of the associated service categories.
- Proven expertise in procurement processes.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Proven vendor management skills.
- Proven contract negotiation skills.
- Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing, with a strong commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements.
- Experience working in a high-performance, complex organizational environment with multiple systems and stakeholders, including compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Self-motivated professional with excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including advanced use of Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with the ZIP procurement system is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the US market, with a strong focus on Marketing, HR, and other indirect categories.
- Partner closely with Marketing, HR, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and value creation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and US market regulations.
- Administer and lead competitive bidding processes (RFPs).
- Negotiate commercial terms (pricing and contractual).
- Perform proposal analysis and issue commercial reports.
- Evaluate and select suppliers in accordance with company policies primarily in the areas of Business & 3rd party Services Procurement.
- Formulate requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations.
- Coordinate preparation of RFP and SoW.
- Direct supplier negotiations.
- Strategically source services and goods using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to provide goods/services and at costs consistent with budgetary expectations.
- Negotiate contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks.
- Collaborate with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable.
- Analyze trends and make corresponding sourcing decisions.
- Participate in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations.
- Perform work according to department KPI goals and other duties as may be assigned.
