Senior Corporate Attorney

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 8+ years of relevant legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in privacy and data protection law; experience or strong interest in AI law required. Significant experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts in fast-paced environments. Comfort operating with high autonomy and making judgment calls without step-by-step guidance. Experience supporting regulated businesses, particularly in financial services or fintech. Ability to independently triage competing legal requests and manage frequent context switching. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to deliver solutions up front.

Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, IT, marketing, 1099, and partnership agreements with minimal oversight. Serve as primary legal reviewer for marketing materials, ensuring regulatory compliance. Act as subject matter owner for privacy and AI-related legal issues. Partner with Risk and Information Security on privacy compliance, data protection, and inquiries. Support responsible AI adoption, including policy development and risk assessments. Manage legal requests related to sales, product, HR, and operations. Maintain and improve legal knowledge management resources. Oversee contract lifecycle processes and maintain standard forms. Collaborate with outside counsel selectively. Provide pragmatic legal guidance on escalations. Support corporate and transactional matters on an as-needed basis.
