Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 1+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in Cyber. Technical expertise and product knowledge in Commercial Insurance. Ability to develop new renewable Cyber and Tech E&O business profitably. Knowledge of marketing principles, underwriting, and pricing strategies. Superb sales and marketing skills; successful agency and broker management. Proven ability to successfully negotiate and develop producer relationships. Strong track record of service orientation and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Maintain profitability through risk selection, analysis, and service of accounts. Manage relationships with insurance agents to negotiate terms. Service renewal business while maintaining customer service standards. Collaborate with the Business Development team to support partnerships. Maintain knowledge of the cyber insurance marketplace and trends. Identify competitive advantages and build supporting processes. Participate in determining approaches to emerging threats and market changes. Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams for continuous improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert for coverage questions. Collaborate with the team, grow, learn, and teach.
