Requirements:
10+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or advocacy. 8+ years experience within K–12 education, EdTech, or workforce development. Proven track record of shaping education policy at state and federal levels. Deep bipartisan relationships across the U.S. education landscape. Expertise in K–12 funding structures, legislative processes, and approval pathways. Advanced degree in Public Policy, Education, Law, or Business (preferred).
Responsibilities:
Lead Edmentum’s national and state government relations strategy. Develop and execute advocacy plans aligned with federal and state initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with legislators, education agencies, and officials. Manage lobbyists and consultants to advance strategic mandates. Analyze political conditions and policy trends to identify opportunities and risks. Partner with sales teams to pursue state-specific funding opportunities. Collaborate with product and strategy teams to align solutions with funding priorities. Shape public narrative around policy priorities with marketing teams.
