10+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or advocacy. 8+ years experience within K–12 education, EdTech, or workforce development. Proven track record of shaping education policy at state and federal levels. Deep bipartisan relationships across the U.S. education landscape. Expertise in K–12 funding structures, legislative processes, and approval pathways. Strategic thinker with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Advanced degree in Public Policy, Education, Law, or Business (preferred). Familiarity with emerging EdTech trends and policy implications. Experience representing organizations before legislatures, boards, and advocacy coalitions.

Lead development and execution of national and state government relations strategy. Translate national priorities into actionable, state-specific advocacy plans. Build and maintain bipartisan relationships with key stakeholders. Deploy and manage lobbyists, advisors, and consultants. Build a national advocacy platform for Edmentum. Conduct state-by-state analysis of political conditions and policy trends. Create and distribute policy intelligence briefs. Partner with field sales teams on state-specific funding opportunities. Collaborate with product, research, and strategy teams on solution roadmap alignment. Shape public narrative around policy priorities with marketing teams.
