Perform monthly close activities for inventory, including reconciliations and COGS analysis. Perform monthly close activities for fulfillment costs and vendor reconciliations. Track weekly COGS and fulfillment costs, comparing actuals to budget. Maintain average inventory costs for all SKUs. Account for all landed costs and allocate through standards and actuals. Analyze purchase price plus landed costs quarterly and explain variances. Develop total landed cost for new SKUs with category leads. Validate inventory purchases and material usage with Supply Chain and Operations. Understand fulfillment and shipping costs and vendors. Provide insights on inventory levels, turns, and operational efficiency. Support cycle counts, identify discrepancy causes, and recommend improvements. Strengthen internal controls for inventory accuracy and cost tracking. Analyze inventory aging reports and review excess/obsolete inventory. Participate in forecasting and budgeting for inventory, COGS, and fulfillment costs. Assist with audit requests. Maintain process documentation and seek automation opportunities. Build and present ad-hoc reports for analysis.
