Inventory Data Specialist

Familiarity with common lumber and building materials terminology and product types. Understanding of supply chain processes. Proficiency in Epicor BisTrack, Epicor Eagle, ECI Spruce, ECI RockSolid, DMSi Agility, DMSi Frameworks, or other LBM-related ERP system. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis functions). SQL knowledge is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute). At least 2+ years of experience in inventory control, data entry, or similar role, preferably in the lumber, building materials, or construction supply industry.

Accurately maintain inventory data in ERP system (Epicor BisTrack). Ensure proper categorization, unit of measure, and attributes for inventory items. Maintain product master data including descriptions, vendor info, pricing, and costs. Merge acquired legacy systems' product data into master product data. Support implementation and optimization of inventory management software and processes. Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and reporting. Work with Financial Systems and other departments to troubleshoot data issues. Provide inventory data support to purchasing, sales, and operations. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on data-related inquiries. Collaborate with end users on data-related inquiries. Coordinate pricing updates with each location.
