Requirements:
5+ years of employment law experience in EMEA jurisdiction, with in-house or top-tier firm experience. Extensive experience and deep practical knowledge of employment law across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. Experience managing complex cross-border employment issues. Expertise in labor investigations and litigations. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a high-volume workload. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong business acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset. Prior in-house experience at a high-growth, global technology company. Fluent in English; proficiency in German, French, Italian, or Spanish is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Serve as legal partner for HR and business leaders on day-to-day employment law matters across EMEA. Manage employment-related disputes, audits, inspections, and litigation. Advise on complex employment issues, including employee relations and performance management. Develop and implement scalable policies and processes to manage outside counsel. Draft, review, and localize employment contracts, handbooks, and separation agreements. Collaborate on new business initiatives, compensation, and reorganizations. Monitor new legislation and regulatory changes in EMEA and advise on impacts.
