Senior Legal Counsel

Qualified lawyer in the UK. 5+ years combined experience at law firm and in-house (minimum 2 years in-house) in a startup/scale-up or technology company. Strong commercial contracts expertise, including SaaS and technology agreements. Solid knowledge or keen interest in IT and IP law, commercial law, corporate law, employment law, privacy/data protection, and AI regulation. Demonstrated interest or experience in privacy and AI compliance. Highly organized and efficient, able to manage multiple matters independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Tech-savvy and curious about new technologies. Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Advise on and negotiate customer deals and contracts for sales teams. Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts (SaaS, SLAs, SOWs, NDAs, etc.). Drive privacy and AI compliance strategies, partnering with Product, Security, and Engineering. Collaborate on internal training, legal operations strategy, and policy drafting. Support the People team with employment-related questions and contract reviews. Handle IP portfolio management, insurance, corporate entity, and M&A support. Coordinate and manage outside counsel.
