Planning Systems Manager

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Anaplan Model Builder or Anaplan Solution Architect. Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, large-scale Anaplan models from scratch. Strong understanding of Anaplan's architecture, including data integration, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and security best practices. Experience translating complex business requirements and multi-dimensional planning scenarios into efficient and scalable Anaplan solutions. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses.

Act as the primary technical owner and subject-matter specialist for Waymo's Anaplan platform. Partner with stakeholders across Operations to design, build, and deploy new planning solutions within Anaplan. Drive the enhancement and maintenance of existing Anaplan models. Manage and optimize data flows between Anaplan and our internal data warehouse (PLX). Proactively identify and address technical debt, improve model performance, and build dynamic, reusable solutions. Drive outcomes for key business projects as our Anaplan specialist.
