Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales role selling to ag retail companies Strong understanding of precision agriculture and related technologies Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade senior decision-makers Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills Sales acumen, with experience in driving renewals and account expansion Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs and solutions Strong communication and relationship-building skills Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on renewals and upselling Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Technology, or a related field Previous experience in a customer-facing role within an Ag Tech company minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the ag retail industry
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with senior executives at ag retail organizations Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets Collaborate with the Head of FMIS, North America to create and implement sales strategies Leverage in-depth knowledge of the ag retail sector Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Partner with internal teams, including product development and customer success Lead negotiations with high-value clients Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities Serve as a resource for other sales team members Identify and resolve issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions
